We are a network of national associations in a variety of specialized areas of nursing. The Canadian Network of Nursing Specialties contributes to CNA’s national nursing voice and its work to shape and influence health policy. By joining these national associations, nurses enhance the breadth and depth of specialized nursing knowledge, as well as the connections and organizational linkages available to CNA and to the network. Individual nurses can have a voice at the national level by joining a national specialty association that’s part of the network.
The network members listed below have been classified as either a specialty practice group or a specialty interest group as indicated in the specialty practice definition [PDF, 205.8 KB]. If a group does not meet all 10 criteria to be classified as a specialty practice member, the association is automatically classified as a specialty interest member.
