Harm Reduction and Illicit Substance Use: Implications for Nursing
This update of CNA’s 2011 discussion paper focuses specifically on harm reduction approaches to minimize the health and social harms associated with illicit substance use. This paper presents current perspectives and evidence on harm reduction policy and practice and identifies what they mean for nursing policy, practice, research and education. 2016 Year in Review
Released at the annual meeting of members in June, the CNA annual report gives an overview of the activities and achievements of 2016. Highlights include the association’s efforts to eliminate federal barriers to NP practice, as well as its collaboration with nursing stakeholders to develop a national nursing framework on medical assistance in dying.
