Your take on the National Nursing Week theme

In the lead-up to National Nursing Week, May 11-17, nurses answered CNA’s call to tell us how this year’s theme, Nurses: With you every step of the way, is resonating with them.

“My BN program was affectionately referred to as nursing — womb to tomb. I have always loved this caption, and the theme for National Nursing Week this year reminds me, now 18 years later, just how involved we truly are in every avenue of our clients’ lives — EVERY step of the way!”
– Victoria

“As a perioperative registered nurse and Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada member, I am with the patient every step of the way and providing excellence to every patient, every time.”
– Barbara

“Nurses are present #everystep — Through life’s celebrations, joys, struggles and challenges.”
– @be_a_nurse_ca

“#everystep means caring, compassion and action for all health needs.”
– @nmaevans

“#NursingKnows the human experience of health & illness throughout the full trajectory of disease. There at #everystep.”
– @salthorne
